As Talent & Partnerships Manager, you will support our objectives by working into the Talent & Partnerships Lead and Strategy team on high level campaigns, as well as owning some of your own projects and programmes with oversight from the strategic leadership team.

THE TEAM AT AMPLIFY

The Talent & Partnership Manager sits in Co.Labs - specialist talent + partner team and part of our wider Strategy, Culture and Comms team.

Our team has three key responsibilities

  1. Delivering talent & partnership programmes and campaigns for our clients from identifying talent & partners to briefing, comms, negotiation and contracting.
  2. Nurturing and growing relationships with clients through strategic consultation and ideation, as well as our talent & partner network
  3. Growing the remit of talent & partnerships offering through pitching and existing client growth

YOUR PURPOSE

A large part of your role will be building strong relationships across the industry, staying close to cultural trends and conversations to understand who is influencing culture and why. You’ll be a key player in the Co.Labs team, acting as a trusted partner to our strategy, creative and client teams to provide inspiration and insight on briefs and tasks. Ensuring you have a good sense of our client portfolio and the sectors they operate in.

You’ll also be juggling different tasks in parallel, with different styles of working for each, so strong organisation skills and a constructive and positive outlook are essential.

  • You’ll be responsible for developing relationships in the industry from talent to agents and cultural partners
  • You’ll dissect, understand and share your perspective on a client brief, and work with the strategy lead to develop a response that meets the objectives
  • You’ll also be responsible for implementing talent programmes and campaigns; developing talent criteria, creating long lists and making recommendations based on the objectives
  • With the support from your manager, you’ll be responsible for negotiating rates and contracts with talent and their agencies
  • You’ll define and write talent briefs, and lead on briefing the creators + talent involved
  • You’ll be able to assess the influencer/talent landscape across a diverse set of categories relevant to our clients (food & drink, sport, fashion, lifestyle, tech, gaming, luxury etc ) and create recommendations to briefs and tasks based on your research
  • You’ll need exceptional attention to detail and quality control to ensure accurate strategy, outreach, and contracting.
  • Competence with on-site talent and/or agent management especially where it relates to creating and adhering to talent schedules, deliverables and eventual liaison between talent and client

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Someone who has 4+ years of experience in a talent/influencer management role
  • A passion for talent, partnerships and culture, as well as a keen understanding of the industry as a whole e.g. the creator economy, the role of partnerships
  • A growing network of relevant agents and partners to engage and reach out to for different types of briefs and campaigns
  • A strong understanding of the platforms and tools needed to execute creator campaigns and partnerships
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for client playbacks and internal collaboration
  • A proactive mindset, asking questions, and working collaboratively
  • Ability to think logically and raise challenges as they arise
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude, and always looking to break formats
