The agency has partnered with Nabs to measure social media use and its impact on mental health.
Amplify’s innovation practice Futures has created a DoomScroller robot to monitor how social media can influence people’s mental wellbeing.
Futures, part of brand experience agency Amplify, focuses on exploring the space between creative technology, entertainment and IP.
The practice collaborated with Kai Lab’s creative technologist, Sean Malikides, to create the robot in an initiative supported by Nabs, the advertising industry’s wellbeing charity.
Launching in time for World Mental Health Day, a 60-second film introduces viewers to the DoomScroller and demonstrates how the prototype can measure social media behaviour, giving a receipt on the user’s mental health.
