Nike “SNKRS Day live”
For the past five years Nike has marked SNKRS Day on 8 August by celebrating sneaker culture. But due to the pandemic, the event had not been held in-person since 2019 so the sportswear brand decided to go big this year, hosting an eight-hour digital and physical celebration spanning London, Paris and Berlin. SNKRS Day 2022 resulted in four livestreams, 12 films, five product drops, three sold-out events plus engagement with the brand’s valued “micro communities”.

Spotify “Greasy Tunes”
Spotify opened a greasy spoon cafe in Shoreditch and offered music fans the chance to meet their favourite artists as well as try some tasty British comfort food. Customers could attend interviews, parties, talks and performances from musicians, songwriters and podcasters, while also indulging in a classic fry-up or bacon sarnie. The cafe also showcased artwork by up-and-coming illustrators on its walls and customers received a bespoke “Greasy Tunes” playlist after attending.
