Amplify help PlayStation take over Paris...
Following six successful years at Gamescom in Cologne, PlayStation challenged Amplify to create and deliver their annual European Press Conference and stand at Paris Games Week.
At such a huge event media and fan cut through can be notoriously difficult, but as PlayStation has always led the way in gaming and entertainment experiences we were all up for the challenge.
Go big at the conference, providing the best platform to deliver announcements to key international media, bloggers and gaming fans. During the rest of Paris Games Week, connect with over 300k visitors and create a full on experience for gamers from open until close.
A monumental event that took over the iconic Grande Arche venue, with 1,200 top international media guests on the opening evening for consumers. This technically ambitious production, including a 40-metre fully blended screen, delivered a visually stunning experience for guests, whilst giving PlayStation and their partners a way to truly represent the innovation of the content. A live stream of the show, translated into 6 languages, gave a global audience the chance to be part of the action too.
For 2015's 20th Anniversary show, Amplify created stands across a 2,700sqm show floor. At these experiences, gamers could try the PS VR headset before its release in 2016, get to grips with Uncharted 4 in a fully immersive jungle setting and play Battlefront in front of a giant AT-AT and TIE-Fighter. The stage was the focal point of our 20th Anniversary celebration and the beating heart of the PlayStation stand, featuring give away sessions, live demos, games contests, developer signings, as well as celebrity blogger contests.
In 2016, Amplify created 2,300sqm show floor celebrating ‘The Future of Play’. Gsignings. Alongside this, gamers had the opportunity to immerse themselves in extraordinary worlds in our dedicated PlayStation VR areas – experiencing a new way to play, get to grips with Horizon Zero Dawn in our captivating forest setting, hit the race track in the GT Sport zone or visit the PlayStation theatre to be one of the first to see an exclusive live demo for some of the most anticipated game releases such as The Last Guardian and Detroit.
