Meta Festival

Amplify + Meta create a Festival of innovation with Stormzy’s stylist ‘Melissa’s Wardrobe’ and Blank Street Coffee...

Challenge

Working in collaboration with The Fitting Room’s ‘Amp-up with Meta AI’ concept, the team needed Amplify’s expertise to craft an unforgettable experience for Meta Festival 2024.

Amplify’s mission was to bring the brand pillars of AI innovation and creative disruption to life, celebrating Meta’s latest products, sourcing some killer headline speaker talent and crafting a production and guest experience to entice both Meta’s business and creator audiences in tandem.

Insight + Strategy

The Festival was built to bring creators and businesses together to connect, create and leave inspired with Meta’s latest offerings. Hosted in Shoreditch - the perfect location in the capital - many of the product demos and partnerships were a nod to the locale, such as a Columbia Road Flower Market Reels experience, and bold, dynamic design, lighting and materiality that felt authentic to a playful London festival.

Amplify worked with The Fitting Room’s strategy for the day, aiming to land Meta as the leader in AI and the event serving as a visual nod to the future of the business.

Solution

Meta Festival

Brands and Creators journeyed through the past, present and future of Meta from the timeline to a mirrored Blank Street coffee matcha concept store and Gen AI bespoke tote bag screen-printing, the perfect setting to create, connect and innovate.

In keeping with the event backdrop, the programming was carefully curated. Amplify’s Co.Labs division negotiated key speaker talent including cultural influencer Mel Holdbrook-Akposoe (aka Melissa’s Wardrobe, stylist to Stormzy) and Marketing Director for viral coffee chain Blank Street, Claudia Winter, who joined a fireside chat on how to ‘assure authenticity’. Mel’s very own branded matcha latte was launched at the event, and bespoke creator masterclasses and break out sessions hosted by Meta’s Michael Amaning were high energy.

Key sessions from the day were broadcast to EMEA markets to ensure no one had to miss out. The Festival production with Amplify was, in Meta’s words, ‘one of the most seamless they had ever worked on’
