Amplify turns up the volume with Turtle Beach at key Gaming Expos across the UK...
The video games industry’s number one gaming headset company, Turtle Beach, challenged Amplify to help it connect with gaming fans at three key events – GAME Conference, EGX and Smyth’s Toys Expo.
Gaming expos are full of die-hard fans, so we had to ensure we talked knowledgably to an already knowledgeable audience.
A full on experience for gamers, cutting through the noise to create a memorable moment.
We designed and built bespoke, reusable demo units to hero Turtle Beach’s new range of products at industry and consumer-facing events alike, and staffed them with an expert team of gaming and tech enthusiasts.
The physical was integrated with the digital in the form of a #TBTREATS competition, which encouraged consumers to take a selfie with Turtle Beach headsets and post their image on Twitter using our tag for the chance of winning a range of prizes. The competition not only encouraged engagement with consumers but also extended the brand’s social reach during the events.
A giant Turtle Beach headset, huge LED screen and giant hanging banner grabbed plenty of attention, helping us maintain a constant buzz and flow of traffic at the stand. We delivered over 11,880 demos at EGX alone. Importantly, sampling also translated to sales, with the on-site GAME pop-up shop completely selling out of PX4 headsets on the second day of EGX due to high demand.
